碳纳米角
Single Layer Carbon Nanohorn
碳纳米角(简称碳纳米角)是最近几年来继碳纳米管之后的又一种新兴的碳纳米材料。碳纳米角直径为2~5nm,一端为封闭的锥形结构,另一端开口,长度为10~20nm。碳纳米角通常以直径为80-100nm的球形聚集体存在,聚集体的形貌有dahlia,bud和seed三种类型。
碳纳米角的比表面积大并且具有中空结构,在催化剂载体、药物载体、燃料电池(目前已广泛应用于电子浆料复合材料,水环境污染处理,气体存储,药物释放-病毒、肿瘤光治疗,燃料电池负极材料、催化材料,纳米复合催化剂,天然气催化剂载体,石油催化剂载体)等等方面具有广阔的应用前景。我们建立了直流电弧放电制备碳纳米角的方法(Carbon 2010,48,1580-1585),目前正致力于实现碳纳米角在能量存储和催化剂载体等方面的应用(Journal of Power Sources 2012,220,449-454; Journal of Power sources 2013,232,193-198)。

Single-walled carbon nanohorns(referred carbon nanohorn) is an emerging carbon nanomaterial following CNTs. Diameter of each carbon nanohorn is 2~5 nm, one side has sealed tapered struct-ure,the other side is open,the length is 10~20nm. Carbon nanohorn usually exist in Spherical aggregates with diameter from 80nm to 100 nm, aggregates has three morphologies: dahlia, bud and seed.
Carbon nanohorn has large specific surface area and hollow structure, and it has been widely used in Electronic paste composite materials, water pollution treatment,gas storage,drug delivery-virus, photodynamic therapy, fuel cell anode matrrials,ca-talytic materials,nano-composite catalysts, natural gas catalyst support, petroleum catalyst carrier. We have established a method for the preparation of a DC arc discharge carbon nanohorns (Carbon 2010,48,1580-1585), currently working on the application of carbon nanohorns in energy storage, the catalyst carrier and other aspects(Journal of Power Sources 2012,220,449-454; Journal of Power Sources 2013,232,193-198).
